Merchant, Saudagar Enterprise, commonly referred to as “Saudagar”, is a multi-product company with diversified investments in Imported Teak Timber products, Garments and Yarn. Managing director, Ashraf Saudagar K. Merchant, currently heads the group.
Organic export house of baby garments and cotton yarn
We at Saudagar facilitate our In-house manufacturing in the textile hub of Tirupur in Tamil Nadu (India), specializing in Baby garments and Cotton Yarn. We have a complete organic manufacturing set-up from Yarn Spinning, to Knitting, Fabric manufacturing and Digital Embroidery. From its humble beginnings in the 1970’s, Saudagar today has Avg. annual export turnover of over $5mn, with production capacity of 2 million garment pcs per month.
Besides manufacturing Baby Garments, lately, our focus has been to manufacture T-shirts and other garments for leading Apparel Brands across the world.
Part of its multi-product strategy, Saudagar is a primary supplier of Burmese Teak timber and other West african Hardwood.
