Savvy Investments was founded in 2018 to segregate the investment management business from our insurance services practice started in 2000 with Savvy Insurance. Savvy Investments provides international investment advice for clients who understand the virtues of diversification of a portfolio, using stocks, etfs, bonds, funds and structured notes to attain a diversified yet uncorrelated portfolio that will build upon the Brazilian domestic investments of the client.
In January 2020, Savvy became one of the few companies in Brazil officially recognized by the CVM (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários), equivalent to the SEC in Brazil, and responsible for overseeing all market regulations and fiscalization in the country, as a Securities Consultant, pursuant to the Instruction CVM 592/2017.
As of March, 2020, Savvy and BTG Pactual Digital started a cooperating effort to offer consulting services to domestic clients of the bank, where Savvy is responsible for all relationship and investments of its clients within the BTG Pactual Digital investment Platform. So far results are above expectation and we at Savvy are very thrilled with the potential of this business for the future of our company.
