SBE Latvia Ltd is a producer of wood pellets since 1997 and now is a Swedish financed member of Lantmännen Agroenergy group (www.agrol.se, www.agroenergi.se, www.lantmannen.se). Preliminary data speak of 71500 tons produced in 2013.
Saw dust, shavings, chips, firewood and byproducts from the woodworking industry is the basis for our pellet production. Industrial pellets go for the most part to countries of the Baltic Sea region, United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands for use at power and cogeneration plants.
SBE Latvia Ltd can also produce high quality wood pellets for heating of individual houses, institutions, enterprises. For the time being 8 mm pellets are delivered in 16 kg bags or bulk. Buyers in Latvia can choose delivery at the user's doorstep - we organise this service in cooperation with local transport firms.
