Our story begins in 1888, foundation date of Pasticceria Scarpato, but the origins of our pastry art are even older and closely linked to Verona, the town of Romeo & Juliet. Scarpato specializes, today as originally, in the artisanal production of typical Italian leavened products, such as Pandoro, Panettone, Colomba; as well as in exclusive Venetian leavened products: such as the Veronese Offella and the Venetian focaccia. Three daily refreshments of yeast; four doughs; creams and fillings made directly by our Master Pastry Chefs: that’s why the softness and taste of our products have no equals in the panorama of high-end artisanal pastry. This explain the growing success of Scarpato both in Italy and in thirty one countries worldwide. Time, care and passion: these are our main ingredients. That’s why Pasticceria Scarpato has a higher gear: we call it Sweet Appeal. La nostra storia inizia nel 1888, ispirata dall’antica arte pasticcera veronese. Oggi come allora, Scarpato produce i dolci tipici delle ricorrenze, come il pandoro, il panettone, la colomba; e poi i dolci tipici della tradizione locale: come l’Offella Antica Verona e la focaccia veneta. Con la qualità non siamo mai scesi a compromessi: oltre al lievito madre ultracentenario, il metodo di produzione è lo stesso da sempre. Siamo stati i pionieri delle sette lavorazioni e ancora oggi effettuiamo quattro impasti e ben tre rinfreschi di lievito al giorno, per una morbidezza e uno sviluppo senza eguali nel panorama dell’alta pasticceria artigianale. Questo spiega il successo di Scarpato in Italia ed in trentuno nazioni estere. Le creme e le farciture vengono realizzate direttamente dai nostri maestri pasticceri, rendendo i lievitati Scarpato unici ed inimitabili.
