With the foundation of SCHÜTZ UK in 1990, SCHÜTZ underlined its dedication to the UK market as part of ongoing global expansion. The production of IBCs commenced in the same year, and with the completion of the reconditioning plant in 2003, SCHÜTZ UK expanded its service range to offer a closed loop system for packaging systems.
In 2007, SCHÜTZ UK commenced Production of the F1 PE drum – the innovative and globally successful tight-head plastic drum. In addition, an Open Head PE Drum Production line compliments the comprehensive range of options available from the Worksop plant. Today, more than 125 employees are active in the fields of production and reconditioning of SCHÜTZ containers at the Worksop facility.
