The Science Education Research Foundation (SeER) is an education-oriented 501(c)(3) which funds science education research and its application to foster science-informed thinking and action in young learners. SeER funds projects in STEM education generally, and socio-scientific topics such as climate change science education particularly.
We view science education as an ecosystem which includes learners, teachers, and researchers. By improving the state of the ecosystem, we intend to improve science education outcomes for K-12 learners.
