The China-SCO Technology Transfer Center was officially established in December 2020 with the approval of China's national leadership and under the guidance of the SCO Secretariat. It enjoys support from multiple departments, including the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among others. As the highest-level multilateral cooperation platform in China, the Center provides clients with services related to locating technology and accessing markets. Its mission is to serve as a bridge and link connecting governments, enterprises, institutions, and international partnerships. The Center aims to establish new models of international cooperation for countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative based primarily on the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Among the recent major projects of our Center are the development of the carbon assets market in Kazakhstan and the cable product manufacturing project in Uzbekistan, several projects have been executed in Europe. We have served over 1000 enterprises, established connections with more than 100 higher education institutions, with the volume of trade services exceeding 3 billion yuan (approximately 429 million USD), and technological transactions reaching 20 billion yuan (approximately 2.9 billion USD). Our Center organized three SCO International Youth Competitions for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
The Center is authorized to represent Baidu, China's largest corporation, in international markets, thus opening new opportunities to showcase the tourism potential and inform about the investment climate of partner countries, as well as to promote products and services of foreign companies to the broad Chinese audience.
