Scoil Chaitriona was founded in 1928 by Dominican Sister, an Máthair Treasa. And has proud tradition of providing education through Irish for boys and girls. As a Dominican school under the trusteeship of the Le Chéile schools trust, we promote the holistic development of all our students and help them to reach their full potential academically, socially, personally, spiritually and creatively To that end in addition to seeking the highest academic standards, we place a great emphasis on a wide range of extra curricular activities, believing that learning takes place both inside and outside of the classroom. Our particular mission is to foster a love and loyalty to the Irish language and culture in our students. In Scoil Chaitriona we are proud of our heritage but continue to innovate and look to the future.
