Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund

Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund company information, Employees & Contact Information

Our mission and purpose is to send at-risk, underserved children affected by gun violence to summer sleep-away camp. The Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund was established following the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. Scott J. Beigel was a cross-country coach and geography teacher who spent 28 summers as a camper and counselor. Scott lived his life teaching, mentoring, guiding and helping children of all ages. On February 14, 2018, his heroic efforts saved the lives of his students although we lost our hero that day. In 2023, with your support and generosity, the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund gave out grants to seven summer sleep-away camps in four states totaling $378,600 to fund 262 camperships for at-risk children. Our ultimate vision and goal is to annually raise $1M+ to send 1,000+ underprivileged children touched by gun violence to summer camp. We need your help! To learn more about the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund and the great work we're doing for children across the USA, please visit our website.
