Scott Whitaker Creative Overview

My career started shortly after graduation in the summer of 2004. I was walking down 4th st. in Winston-Salem, NC with a suit on, my portfolio in hand, and beaten macintosh under my shoulder. I came in like a mysterious stranger in an old west movie and had my first interview at SLAM advertising. I ended up working that very evening until close and ended up getting hired on the first interview. Luck hit me and I was on a path to work in a career I have always admired. Since then I have been working in ad agencies, colleges, and with my personal clients since 2004. Doing everything from taking on the role of Ad Professor, Web Design Dude, Software aficionado IT Man and even Ironic T-shirt designer. Yet ultimately I am an Art Director / Web Developer / Marketing Professional and I still like to see pretty paper get the proper ink and die cuts it deserves!
