Scout is a design and development practice reimagining how buildings can be transformed into meaningful and compelling spaces for people to experiment, grow, and succeed together. Currently overseeing the redevelopment of a historic vocational school in Philadelphia, PA and a historic manufacturing facility in Providence, RI into mixed use destinations for community and educational services, artists and makers, creative businesses, and more.
Scout was founded in 2011 in London. Our first project was the creation of a pop-up cinema called Films on Fridges in Hackney Wick. In 2015, Scout moved to the US to start to work on the redevelopment of the Bok Building in South Philadelphia.
