Initiated in 2014, the Stann Creek Regional Archaeology Project (SCRAP) focuses on the archaeology of the Stann Creek District of Belize. We are currently conducting investigations at the ancient Maya sites of Alabama & Pearce, in consultation and collaboration with local Maya communities, and under permit(s) granted by the Belize Institute of Archaeology, NICH. The Project Director/Principal Investigator is Dr. Meaghan Peuramaki-Brown, Athabasca University.
