What are Scrips?
An initiative by the Govt of India (GoI) to reward the exporters for their contribution to the foreign reserves of the country. These rewards are not in cash form but freely transferrable Scrips which can be utilized at the time of Imports.
How do you utilize a Scrip?
Scrips can be used by the same exporter at the time of their imports or these can be freely transferred to an importer retaining their intrinsic value.
