SDSN Ireland: Building a Sustainable Future Through Collaboration
We are a collaborative network of 16 dynamic universities and NGOs dedicated to shaping a sustainable future for all through all-island cooperation. The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Ireland fosters solutions-oriented collaboration to advance the 2030 Agenda with its SDGs and the Paris Agreement through research, education, and engagement. We also collaborate with local authorities, national governments and across a global network of regional and national SDSNs under the auspices of the U.N. Secretary General.
Our Core Pillars
Transformative Solutions: We work together to co-create and implement integrated solutions that accelerate SDG progress, with a focus on driving policy development and delivering tangible outcomes. Our collaboration spans both the North and South of Ireland, ensuring maximized impact across the island.
Learning & Teaching: We promote Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) by offering professional training, learning opportunities, and events that showcase best practices. Our goal is to inspire stakeholders to adopt sustainable behaviors and take meaningful action towards a more sustainable world.
Awareness & Engagement: We lead and facilitate multi-stakeholder engagement, bringing together national and local authorities, NGOs, and other key actors to drive SDG implementation and create lasting change.
