We are a research group from University of Oviedo with more than 30 years of experience in power electronics.
We have a strong commitment in transferring knowledge from academia to industry as well as to educate future researchers within different PhD, MSc and BSc programs in power electronics.
Our research lines are:
1. Ac-dc single-phase power factor correction power converters.
2. Ac-dc three-phase rectifiers.
3. LED drivers.
4. Dc-dc power converters with extremely fast response for Envelope Tracking and Visual Light Communications.
5. Bidirectional dc-dc power converters for BEV and HEV.
6. High voltage dc-dc and ac-dc power converters for electric aircraft.
7. Modular dc-dc power converters for aerospace applications.
8. Ac-dc and dc-dc power supplies for audio applications.
We intensively collaborate with national and international companies in the frame of R&D private projects and with other research institutions and universities with public funded R&D projects.
