🛳️ Making sea activity more transparent
Seafer aims at developing sea monitoring programme that will make it more challenging for the unsurpervised, potentially dangerous activities to go unnoticed. Our goals is to positively impact sanctions loophole prevention and provide tracking network for climate-damaging practices.
🛰️ How does it work?
The core idea is to monitor ship activity by comparing data in real-time and historical timeframe. Every time ship disables their AIS the information with details such as: name, registration_id, position, x (latitude), y (longtitude), course, speed, start_port, end_port is being included in 'blacklist' database. Additionally, it analyzes in detail satellite images in a specified perimeter where ship went offline. The message is then sent to all qualified authorities in order to allow them rapid reaction to all suspicious undertakings in the relevant area.

Satalite data provided by Copernicus allows users to thoroughly investigate the territory of their interest with potentially hazardous sea conditions. And it also provides additional verification for more proofs of illegal activity.
