Seed Change is a non-profit organisation growing sustainable opportunities for small-holder farmers in Tanzania.
In the Kigoma region of Tanzania there are over 80,000 small-holder farmers who derive the majority of their income from cultivating oil palm trees and extracting and selling palm oil. Despite cultivating a very lucrative crop, the vast majority of farmers and their families live in poverty and rely on agriculture to carve out a subsistence living.
Seed Change collaborates with local government, other NGOs, and the private sector to achieve our goal of lifting these farmers out of poverty.
