Sensental aims to provide support for elite athletes who suffer from depression and/or anxiety. Founded in 2020 by a former collegiate football athlete and competitive swimmer; both connected and discussed about how they have struggled with mental health in their athletic careers. However, it's not until they read an NCAA study conducted in 2015 that reported 30% of student-athletes feeling overwhelmed with the rigors of being in the collegiate level that sparked their interest on pursuing a solution. Their goal for Sensental is to help every athlete that goes through depressive or anxious symptoms, by having someone there for them 24/7.
