Anxiety and stresses caused by issues with housing, employment, education and training, benefits, job searches, homelessness, debt management, recovery, and relapse prevention etc can hinder and make recovery from drink and or drugs very difficult.
At SUIT we aim to alleviate some of these pressures and advocate on behalf of our clients. The unique thing about SUIT is we can often help with several issues at the SUIT office by our trained employees and volunteers. We are staffed by people with lived experience who can identify with their clients, inspire, and give them hope for their own recovery.
We source and signpost relevant ETE opportunities that are tailored to the needs of each individual to support their recovery programme. Each individuals recovery is autonomous and we will work closely with each service user to ensure their goals and ambitions are met. we collaborate with Recovery Near You, Dudley College, TOPPS training, St Giles Trust, Job Change, local Job centres, BBO Bridges programme, Talent match, Wolverhampton social prescribing, Welfare rights service, Wolverhampton City Council.
