Servicehunde til Handicappede Overview

STH er en nonprofit forening, der har til formål at uddanne og udplacere specialtrænede social- og servicehunde til at hjælpe mennesker med bevægelseshandicap. STH er en non-profit forening, hvis målsætning det er, at hjælpe personer som er bevægelseshandicappede, ved at bevilge specialtrænede servicehunde og bistå med vedvarende støtte og vejledning for at sikre et værdifuldt samarbejde for teamet. Drivkraften i foreningen er dels en række frivillige og ulønnede værtsfamilier, der lægger hjem og hjerte til en hvalp i ca. 12 mdr., for at give den kommende servicehund et godt fundament til dens fremtidige karriere. Desuden en række privatpersoner, fonde og virksomheder, der via økonomiske sponsorater, foder og udstyr, sammen gør det muligt at gøre drømmen om at træne servicehunde til handicappede til virkelighed. STH er akkrediteret af den europæiske servicehundeorganisation ADEu, og dermed også medlem af den internationale organisation ADI, og lever op til de internationale standarder for træning af servicehunde.
