Services To Enhance Potential (STEP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support and services to over 1,400 individuals with disabilities and other mental health needs in the Wayne and Macomb Counties. Individuals with barriers are enabled to reach their best potential and life goals through self-employment, supported employment, volunteer opportunities, and a variety of programs and trainings. We strongly believe that all individuals
have the choice and ability to achieve the quality of life they deserve.
Services To Enhance Potential is the owner and operator of STEP Thrift Store and Donation Centers. Our thrift store operations are significantly different from others in the community. STEP Thrift Store and Donation Centers hire the individuals that we serve; allowing them to earn a livable income, learn useful real-world skills, and integrate in community life.
Our mission is to support individuals in the pursuit of their chosen goals and the achievement of personal satisfaction in their lives.
