The Sustainable Engineering Structures Laboratory of the University of Granada (Spain) aims to develop high-quality research, technical assistance, knowledge transfer and scientific dissemination in the field of structural and materials engineering, fostering innovation and sustainability.
Our main research lines are:
1. Application of nondestructive testing techniques for the mechanical characterization of materials, damage detection and structural safety assessment.
2. Laboratory tests for the mechanical and fracture characterization of geomaterials.
3. Computational mechanics for the modeling and simulation of structural problems.
SES-Lab is made up of a multidisciplinar team composed of professors, researches, laboratory technicians, and administration and services staff, most of them linked to the Solid Mechanics and Structures Research Group.
