Global RBC expert Eric Findlay was Severn Trent Water’s principal engineer responsible for the development of their RBC programme. He also had responsibilty for delivering a major part of Severn Trent Water Ltd's Multi -Million Pound Budget . He was responsible for the Cranfield Initiative looking at the Mechanical Integrity of RBCs for which he was awarded a visiting chair. The adoption of Combined Reed Beds enabled RBC and Reed Bed Process to treat all flows to a crystal clear standard, which is unique.
