The SGI Power Transmission organization was founded in the USA to be responsible for the manufacturing and sale of mechanical power transmission products from PTI – Power Transmission Industries SA, Transmotécnica (TT) and the sales and warehousing of Woodbrook Driving Systems – WDS products.
PTI is was founded in 1946 by The Falk Corporation as a subsidiary in Brazil. Transmotecnica is a former subsidiary of the Reliance Group from the USA. WDS is the successor company of Flender Brasil, formerly a subsidiary of Flender Germany.

SGI Power Transmission is one of the most important suppliers of mechanical power transmission equipment, with over 70 years of experience in the world market supported by a strong R&D and engineering department. Its portfolio includes a complete line of speed reducers and couplings, including standard and customized products that meet the AGMA and ISO standards.
SGI is responsible for all global marketing and technical sales efforts and support outside Brazil. Supported by manufacturing operations in Brazil, South Korea and China and Distribution Centers in Brazil, South Korea and United States, SGI provides the capabilities to serve the markets worldwide in a timely and efficient manner.
