Steve Shada has been a builder and artist in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City since 1997. In 2000 Steve founded Pika Woodworking, a custom cabinetry and fine furniture company focusing on the use of sustainable materials and time-tested construction methods. In 2013, Steve opened Shada Build & Design to respond to the expanding resources and diversified needs of a growing client base. In addition to cabinetry, millwork and furniture we offer interior design services, space planning, fabrication design and value engineering. At Shada Build & Design we not only pride ourselves on providing excellent value for exceptional workmanship but on our organizational skills and follow-through. We work closely with contractors, architects, designers, artists and engineers to produce excellent work on predictable schedules and with clear communication throughout the project.
