Shanghai ABM Rock Wool Co., Ltd formerly named as Shanghai Advanced Building Materials Mineral Wool Factory is a member of Shanghai Building Materials (Group) General Company, locates in Shanghai Qingpu Industrial park, covers an area of approximately 60,000 square meters and has more than 300 employees including about 60 engineers and technicians.
In 1986, Shanghai ABM Rock Wool Co., Ltd introduced a full set of production line from Japan Nitto Boseki Co., Ltd, and in 2002, it newly built up a production line reaching advanced national level. In the year of 2009 and 2010, the company transformed the technology from slag to stone wool. The plant total production capacity is more than 40,000 tons annually and has kept No.1 in sales volume in the same industry in China over a series of years. Its products have been exported to Japan, South Korea, Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, Middle East and other countries and regions. The exports volume is about 30% of total sales, the main products are: facade insulation rock wool products, roof insulation rock wool products, fire proof rock wool board, A60 products, rock wool core material for sandwich panel, rock wool wire meshed and glass fiber cloth faced blanket, agriculture rock wool products, insulation pipe section and rock wool engineering fiber.
In early 2011, Shanghai ABM Rock Wool Dafeng Co., Ltd was established in Dafeng city Jiangsu Province which covers an area of 220,000 square meters. Theproduction capacity is 70,000 tons annually.
