Q3/2018 - Share&Charge Goes Open.A fully open-source and decentralized charging network based on blockchain technology was developed and tested. Q4/2018 - Setup of Non-Profit Foundation. Share&Charge is incorporated as a non-profit foundation in Switzerland with the purpose of curating the development of Share&Charge technology. First partners join the foundation. Q1/2019 - In-Car Wallet Pilot. Share&Charge technology is used for Machine-to-machine payment in combination with the EV charging standard ISO 15118. Q3/2019 - Open Charging Network Publicly Available for Testing. The decentralized Open Charging Network which enables the Electric Vehicle charging community to offer a simple, secure and cost-efficient charging experience.
