ShareShed inspires people to get outside and live vibrant lives by providing a web and mobile app for peer-to-peer outdoor equipment rentals.
ShareShed has been featured on CBC, Vancity Buzz, North Shore News, 102.7 The PEAK as well as other media outlets. ShareShed was presented live in front of 20,000 youth at WE Day Vancouver with millions watching online and on TV. ShareShed has office space at Hootsuite HQ2, startup funding, and industry professional mentorship from The Next Big Thing. The team currently consists of five software engineers, a professional designer and student-lead brand champions. This project came first place at the Ashoka Changemaker Challenge for social innovation with its ability to change and strengthen communities around the world.
