Sheridan Woods

Charlotte Sheridan and Kevin Woods established Sheridan Woods Architects & Urban Planners Ltd in 1997. Charlotte Sheridan, an architect and planner and Kevin Woods an architect and urban designer. We are members of the RIAI (Royal Institutes of Architects of Ireland) and the IPI (Irish Planning Institute). Kevin Woods is a Conservation Architect (RIAI Grade II) and Charlotte Sheridan is accredited in Conservation (RIAI Grade III Conservation Accreditation). Our design interest in architecture, urban design, conservation and planning is all about people. Our work is based sustainable principles of creating places for people and resilient communities; places to live and work, the spaces between buildings, the public realm and placemaking. We work within and are informed by existing contexts to build on people’s sense of place and identity. Our project portfolio is diverse, from historic landscape characterisation plans, town centre regeneration plans, ACA’s, to adaptive reuse of historic and protected structures, multiple unit homes, mixed use development and neighbourhood planning and development and master planning to ingrate public infrastructure projects in urban contexts. We view collaboration and engagement at the centre of our work, that include the public and private sector, communities, and our design team.
