SHERO is on a mission to develop and commercialize the world’s first completely biodegradable hot-melt adhesive.
We are applying Materials Science to design an adhesive that effectively performs, completely and safely degrades within six months, and is commercially viable at scale.
In late 2021, we were awarded a National Science Foundation grant to investigate the challenges of developing such an adhesive and deploying it into the marketplace. While we are exploring a number of exciting possibilities, our current focus is removing technical barriers to the creation of a completely sustainable and biodegradable menstrual pad.
