Today education plays a very crucial role in every individual’s life. The awareness regarding the world as well as the capability of oneself to express and outstand is possible because of the education gained. Education is like absorbing nutrition for the personality and a better life - the more you gain the better life will open doors of opportunities for you.
Shiksha is one of the initiative taken by the students of Surat in order to educate the children living on the streets or slum areas. We manage the process by initiating with the visiting of the area and then providing them teaching every Sunday. The students are provided with the materials like Books, pen and papers. Several activities are also conducted on festivals and occasions in which we provide food and clothes to the parents as well as to their children. This is completely a non-profitable venture and is a very unique way of providing the essence of education.
