ArmorWorks brand ShockRide is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of blast attenuating seats for the U.S. Military and our Allies. We design, develop, test, and produce Energy Attenuating (EA) Seating Systems. ShockRide is the original equipment manufacturer of energy attenuating seating systems for our line of Troop Seats, Driver/Commander Seats, Modular Bench Seats, and other seats to meet various applications. These include stand-alone seats as well as a modular seat systems. ShockRide has designed and produced over 115,000 mine blast attenuating seats for numerous combat vehicles that are saving lives today. ShockRide seat designs allow for maximum efficiency in many areas from safety, lighter weight, to space savings, to comfort of the occupant. Our ergonomic design works to ease the stress on the troops’ spines and pelvic regions during and after a mine blast. We are configured to develop unique seat designs in rapid fashion to exceed industry specifications and blast attenuation requirements.
