Shri Srinivasa Polymers, was incorporated as Shri Venkateswara Polymers in 2004 and began operations. The goal was to provide Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) boxes for perishables like chilled fish that require shipment to various states in India and storage in a thermally controlled environment, in contrast to plastic crate, which is expensive and required to be returned for reuse.
Shri Srinivasa Polymers has since grown from a small start-up to a leading provider of quality EPS products for Fish Packaging, Industrial use, Granite and Tiles Packaging, Protective packaging for Vaccines, Insulation solutions for Cold Storages.
Expanded Polystyrene is used as an economical protective packaging solution and is an excellent choice to protect heavy items such as major appliances. It has excellent range of performance in packaging when designed correctly. By introducing EPS box to our customers for chilled fish packaging, they have benefited by the following:
1 The insulation property of Expanded Polystyrene has helped increase the number of fish that can be packed in a box, by cutting down the quantity of ice required.
2 Because EPS is recyclable, the boxes are not required to be returned which saved the costs of transportation.
3 Our customers could ship chilled fish to more remote areas, since the insulation property helped the ice to hold the freshness of the fish for longer times and thus widening the marketing for fish throughout India.
