Shrunkhala Organisation for Sustainable Development is a Section 8 not-for-profit organization since 2018 committed to building inclusive, sustainable, and equitable communities. Our mission is to foster sensitized citizens and empower them to collaboratively shape a better future. Founded with the belief that “sustainability begins with awareness and action at the grassroots,” Shrunkhala operates entirely through a volunteer-driven model, reaching thousands across urban and rural Maharashtra.We envision sustainable communities where people not only live and work comfortably but also contribute to environmental stewardship and social responsibility. Our focus is on integrated community building, with flagship programs targeting diverse segments of society—from women and children to farmers and eco-warriors. With initiatives such as Dreamweaver (for women's empowerment),CHAMP (for socially and environmentally responsible children), Ankur (for food sustainability), Kavach (for seed conservation), and our Zero Waste campaigns, Shrunkhala has impacted over 2,20,000 people, diverted500 MT of CO₂ emissions, and reached 30 villages, all while empowering 800+ women and 400+ children through dedicated programs.
