The SIENHA project (Strategic innovative educational network for healthy ageing) is being funded by the European Commission, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. It is a project involving several higher education institutions in Europe and is coordinated by the Ramon Llull University. The universities involved in this project are: Santa Casa da Misericordia de Lisboa, Heimerer College, HU University of Applied Sciences, Hochschule für Gesundheit, Nicolaus Copernicus University, JAMK University of Applied Sciences and the Blanquerna-URL School of Health Science. The Erasmus+ program is the EU program to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The program contributes to the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, jobs, social justice and inclusion, and to the objectives of the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020).
