Welcome to Silencing Stigma, a dedicated and compassionate organisation committed to empowering young girls by providing them with comprehensive knowledge about periods and breaking the barriers of stigma surrounding menstruation. We firmly believe that every young girl deserves access to accurate information and a supportive community to acquire a better understanding of how, and why we menstruate. We do this through interactive sessions that delve into mensuration's hygienic, societal and biological aspects that are often neglected or labeled as ‘taboo’.We believe education is the key to dispelling myths, breaking taboos, and empowering girls to embrace their bodies and menstrual cycles with pride. Through interactive workshops, informative sessions, and engaging resources, we equip girls with the necessary tools to understand their bodies, manage their periods comfortably, and make informed decisions about their health and well-being. By challenging societal norms and fostering a sense of empowerment, we aim to create a future where periods are no longer a taboo subject but celebrated as a natural and beautiful part of womanhood.
