Silesian Aerospace Technologies is academic association founded in 2018 by a group of students from Silesian University of Technology, with interests revolving around space engineering, astronomy and other technical sciences. At the present time, association consists of 35 students from SUT, University of Silesia and Medical University of Silesia. Main area of SAT’s activity involves launching rockets and stratospheric balloons of CubeSat-based design. Along with these projects, SAT is currently developing a ground station in order to communicate with the instruments and other spacecraft in orbit.
