Silikal has been manufacturing reactive resins for flooring and building protection based on methyl methacrylate, epoxy and polyurethane since 1951. We work closely with specialist trades, building and building protection companies, engineers, planners and architects.
In general, Silikal offers four main products: Floor Coating, Mortar Systems, Waterproofing and Road Marking
Seamless, continuous floor coatings based on reactive resins from Silikal offer the best conditions for absolute cleanliness: no niches that allow fungi and bacteria to multiply, no sanding out or holes that allow moisture and dirt to penetrate. Transitions to the wall can be made in sloping or coved form.
Fast curing floor coating: 1 hour after installation, a Silikal floor is fully loadable again, often without any interruption to operations, even at very low temperatures of up to -25 °C.
Secure ground under your feet: Depending on the requirements of the floor surface, the coverings can be adjusted as desired from smooth to highly slip-resistant. For this purpose, different variants of our reaction resin systems are certified by test certificates.
Four facts about Silikal-MMA-floor-coating:
1. Stronger - The compressive strength of Silikal floors can be flexibly adjusted; up to 105 Newtons per square millimetre are technically possible
2. Temperatures - MMA resins can be laid at very low temperatures and still be loaded very quickly. And that down to -25 °C
3. Aesthetic - Coloured flakes, coloured quartz and pigments from Silikal transform heavy-duty industrial floors based on reactive resins into individually designed and attractive surfaces
4. Chemical resistance - Silikal floors are extremely resistant and show resistance to many acids, alkalis, greases, oils, most fuels and numerous other chemicals
