Visual Arts Centre is a premier arts recreational organisation which serves to promote and provide a wide range of art programmes and professional art courses for all age groups! Our most popular programmes include Creative Team Bonding Art Jamming Mural, Spring Season Chinese Ink Painting and Couplet Writing, Traditional Batik Handkerchief and Mural Jamming, and various art appreciation activities!
Established since 2016, Visual Arts Centre is supported by the National Parks Board, Singapore, and occupies a 5,500 square feet within the heart of the arts district at Dhoby Ghaut Green.
Visual Arts Centre takes pride in bringing about engaging and enriching art activities to the public and in serving the vibrant arts community in Singapore. Visual Arts Centre offers a range of professional regular art courses suitable for adult art learners, such as Drawing and sketching, Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting, Watercolour Painting, Chinese Ink Painting. In addition, the children and youth art courses have been highly popular, with special workshops and programmes offered during school holidays.
Visual Arts Centre is a glass-house exhibition gallery and art studio located directly above the Dhoby Ghaut MRT and housed within the beautiful, lush green habitat of Dhoby Ghaut Green. Supported by the National Parks Board, Visual Arts Centre is Singapore’s premier arts recreational centre with rotating exhibitions, art activities and programmes free for public admission and a professional art studio offering various art courses for training and workshop.
