Sinopec International Petroleum Service Ecuador S.A. fue constituida en octubre del año 2002 en Quito, es parte de Sinopec International Petroleum Service Corporation, domiciliada en China. El Grupo Sinopec con sus 20 años de experiencia en el sector petrolero han permitido alcanzar varios reconocimientos, Sinopec es la mayor compañía de refinación y la segunda compañía química más grande del mundo. En el año 2018, clasifica en el 3er lugar en la lista Global 500 de Fortune. Considerada como la empresa líder de Ecuador en la prestación de servicios de taladros de perforación y workover, cuenta con 14 torres de perforación y 6 torres de reacondicionamiento, incluyendo los servicios en el área de sísmica (interpretación y procesamiento), mud logging, servicio de Wireline, CRI (Cuttings Reinjection). Con el propósito de contribuir al desarrollo de la actividad petrolera nacional, en el año 2014 se implementan los servicios integrados a través del Consorcio Pañaturi, iniciando operaciones en los Campos Maduros (Indillana, Limoncocha y Yanaquincha Este) del Bloque 15. En el año 2016, Sinopec lideró la prestación de servicios integrados de perforación en el campo Tiputini, con un 70% de líneas de servicio propias del Grupo Sinopec, convirtiendo de esta en una obra emblemática para el país. La metodología de trabajo, estrategias logísticas y buen manejo ambiental en conjunto con la operadora Petroamazonas EP, permitieron obtener una producción por encima de las expectativas y el logro de varios récords a lo largo de los 3 años de operación. Todos los trabajos de Sinopec International Petroleum Service Ecuador S.A., con las compañías internas y extranjeras para el desarrollo de la industria petrolera en el siglo XXI, están basados en los principios de "franqueza, competición, disciplina e integridad".
