The Midland Chapter of SIPES is a professional society for geologists, geophysicists and engineers (and other related professions), who work for themselves and live in the greater Midland-Odessa-Hobbs-Abilene-San Angelo and TransPecos areas. We have technical luncheons on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, except for December (Christmas Break) and February (evening spouse event).
We are directly affiliated with the National SIPES organization, as one of 12 chapters across the nation, so members of the chapter must also be members of Nationals. Limited and Junior memberships are available for those who do not qualify for full membership.
