Sitting Pretty mixes different genres and styles, playfully juggling ethnic silhouettes, masculine tailoring and sportswear notes, with a dash of rock ‘n roll and a hint of romantic aesthetics. Playing with materials, textures, colour and prints creating an understated chic with a twist of sexiness and originality.
A combination of boho chic and urban sophistication the collections are characterised by light, loose cuts embodying a cosmopolitan feel and nonchalance. Striving to conceive simple and relaxed pieces that you feel comfortable and confident.
We are particular about sourcing natural fibres and commit to using no polyester. With environmental awareness and ethical trading as the philosophy that underpins our brand, we believe that the future of fashion is one where synthetic fabrics are a thing of the past, fair wages a norm and fashion pollution a stain on the last few decades.
Founded by Emma Longden in April 2009, the brand has gone through transformations indicative of Emma’s own personal process and relationship with fashion. Her design ethos is inspired by the desire to create beautiful, timeless pieces whilst being mindful of the environment and people involved in the process.
