SWJ Hockey Clinics are a great way to challenge the skater, learn power, efficiency, agility all while having fun! Skaters learn the dynamics of edges, how and when to push on them for maximum speed and control. Jen breaks down each element to promote a full understanding of concepts. Various turns, starts, stops, crossovers and transitions are used to keep things challenging. Drills - Jen draws edges, transitions, etc. on the ice - works on efficiency and power. Add a hockey stick - shoulder and balance awareness while following the course on the ice. Add a puck - Keep things moving while staying on course. Add an Assistant - added speed and pressure to chase the skater down the ice while trying to protect the puck, simulating game situations.
