Skerry Conservation Dogs is based in Scotland and provides a professional dog team to carry out surveys for species of ecological concern. SKD are flexible to travel so can carry out surveys both in Scotland and further afield.
Currently the team is ready to carry out bat and bird carcass searches on wind turbine sites and the dogs are available to imprint on other scents as clients wish.
Lindsey, owner and primary handler, has extensive experience in the ecological sector and has been working as a primary dog handler on a large mustelid eradication in the north of Scotland over the past 3 years and during this time has worked alongside colleagues to refine the search methodology to provide the data needed by the whole team.
