In India, we generate over 62 million tonnes of trash annually, yet, the conversation around sustainability and responsible waste management is at a fairly nascent stage. The garbage that we throw 'away' each day, is typically collected and discarded into unscientific landfills or dumping grounds that has serious ecological repercussions. And worse yet, this waste is often burnt, buried in pits or discarded into water bodies. These unsustainable practices have an enormous negative impact on the environment and local communities.
Through our projects, we work closely with clients to help achieve their goal of achieving zero-waste-to-landfill. This is implemented through a host of waste reduction and waste management measures coupled with sustainability workshops and campaigns to inch towards developing a pro-sustainability mindset.
In addition, as a social enterprise, we work closely with NGOs that work toward the upliftment of waste-workers community in India and help with job creation.
