SMAFIN is a 3-year H2O2O project that aims to create a complete roundtable methodology for enabling smart financing of deep and large scale energy efficiency renovations, mainly in buildings, involving stakeholders of political, financing, public, enterprise and academic sector.
The overall objective of this project is to support smart financing implementation of energy efficiency investments mainly in private and public buildings but also SMEs, industry and infrastructure, by setting up permanent national roundtables.
A set of 3 national roundtables will be held in the four project participating countries, namely Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania, aiming to define the barriers for wider investments as well as to facilitate promotion of the available financial tools and upscale best practices that encourage investments in energy efficiency in buildings sector, SMEs and industry.
