SMAfrica is a dynamic NGO in Sudan, dedicated to youth empowerment and community development since 2014. Our latest venture includes a Public Health Innovation Division, poised to implement a Digital Consultation Unit (DCU) concept in Sudan.

History and Background
Founding Date and Key Milestones:
Our journey began in 2014 with a mission to inspire and motivate Sudanese youth. Initially known as the Sudan Motivation Area (SMA), we quickly became a beacon of hope for secondary school students. By 2017, we evolved into the Sudan Voluntary Organization for Motivation under the Humanitarian Aid Commission.
In 2019, we rebranded as SMAfrica—Spread Motivation throughout Africa, marking a significant milestone. Our impact has reached 13 out of 18 states in Sudan, benefiting 200,000 individuals through psychological support, youth empowerment, and mental health awareness initiatives.
Today, SMAfrica (Share Mindfulness Across Africa) stands as a testament to the power of youth development, mindfulness, and community development. Our approach includes two distinct tracks:
A. Event and Reach Out Track - Youth Empowerment:
Focusing on youth education, engagement, and empowerment, we aim to create a generation of well-rounded, skilled, and motivated individuals. Our programs are designed to inspire and equip young people with the tools they need to succeed.
B. SMAfrica Programs Track - Community Development:
Initially focused on health delivery, this track aims to improve access to health services and bridge the gap through telehealth. We are dedicated to developing innovative solutions to address the health challenges faced by our communities.
