Our 3 Primary Goals.:
1. Education – LED lighting alternatives are first and foremost 90% more energy efficient than most other lighting methods and 50% more efficient than fluorescent. Far too many times one sees folks standing in the Big Box store asking a clerk questions about the LED products and receiving a blank stare. Knowledge is key to the decision making process and the decision is immediate and obvious to a knowledgeable consumer. One needs to know what the various ratings mean, what the components are, and most importantly be assured in the ability to bring it back to someone if it doesn’t work. For the first time in their lives, consumers are going to be tasked with deciding on what color of light they want. Most people tend to think of light as white, and don’t realize how very wrong this is. Measured in Kelvins, light measures primarily from a very yellow 3000K through to a very bright white 6500K similar to what you find outside.
2. Quality – LED lighting is currently available everywhere from the Dollar Store to high-end suppliers and it all looks the same from the outside. Numerous important sounding rankings and ratings are attached to all of the products – some are important, some not so much. One needs to know what they are buying, that it suits the specific needs they have in mind, and that it is of a quality equal to the price they are being asked to pay.
3. Availability – Our goal is to have what consumers need, be able to demonstrate what it looks like working, and be able to explain why the specific product is a good choice for the intended purpose. We carry a full line of commercial and residential products and with very few exceptions have most every product on display and can turn it on and describe the various ratings and components that will help in your buying decision.
