Smart Learners' Club is an after-school and weekend academic support club with a unique and individualised programme based on the ideals of progressive pedagogy aimed at building a strong academic foundation, raising confidence and developing a positive attitude towards learning.
Recently published papers* are in strong agreement about what actually works: repeated and spaced practice testing are consistently being cited as having the highest efficacy, being high-yield in terms of the results achieved in relation to the time invested.
It is evidenced that groups of students who follow a programme of repeat, spaced practice testing consistently achieve higher results in final tests than groups of students using alternative techniques.
