Smart Selangor Delivery Unit (SSDU) Overview

SSDU Innovations Sdn Bhd, also known as Smart Selangor Delivery Unit (SSDU), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI Selangor) and has been mandated by the Selangor State Government to spearhead the implementation of smart initiatives and as the initiatives implementor for the newly established Cultivation of Innovation and Smart Selangor Standing Committee chaired by YAB Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari. Smart Selangor Delivery Unit was established in May 2016, following the decision made by the Selangor State Executive Council (Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri (MMKN). Since its inception, SSDU has helped set the direction for Selangor’s smart agenda initiating many projects and programmes with key stakeholders to future proof Malaysia’s most advanced state. With Smart Selangor being part of the YAB Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor’s main executive portfolio, SSDU is all set to deliver its mandate to develop a better, liveable future for Selangor by providing suitable solutions through optimising technologies for smart state applications with the vision of advancing Selangor to become a liveable Smart State in ASEAN by 2025.
